Downtime

Since our induction back in 2004 Mountain Bike Tales digital magazine has run quite consistently, much to the credit of our former server/host, Hostony (www.hostony.com)

Our contract with the company ended last week and resulted in our sudden and unexpected disappearance from cyber space. While the world suddenly received the ever confidence inspiring “this page cannot be displayed” when they attempted to stop by, there were many of us behind the scenes in an equal state of disappointment. In a panic, both myself and the editors of the magazine were sent scrambling to get things back in action.

The fact you are able to read this public apology is indicative of out success in finding a new host, transferring our domain name, and getting the September issue live for your enjoyment.

To our readers, I would like to apologize for the delay. We expect to have all of our server bugs swatted from here on in. To our contributors and sponsors, I would like to say thanks for bearing with us during this little unexpected upheaval and especially for Jason and Rob’s hard work in getting a month’s worth of work done in a matter of days.
