On The Pedals

The Daily Grind

Over The Bars

Technical Editor's Note
By Rob Manning

Since coming aboard Mountainbike Tales over a year ago, I've watched as we've evolved and changed through a couple of different formats. I've also watched our content change by the season, by the month and with the ebb and flow of industry trends. Our editors and techs have spent countless hours communicating back and forth with each other, testing bikes and products and putting our thoughts and complaints on (virtual) paper. We've spent time answering your letters and questions, and rolling with your punches as you challenged us to do a better job. We took the challenge and we ran with it, and it's led to what you see here.

MBT really has come a long way since it's inception. As a publication we have grown by leaps and bounds in the past couple years. This month we roll out our second reformat in as many years, and we think that the new design is the best we've auditioned to date. While it is a little more graphics intensive and a little more involved, we feel that the new design captures the essence of MBT a little more than the previous iterations have, and we're hoping that the new format makes you, our readers, feel a little more at home and adds to your enjoyment.

As always, we value the input of our readers and spend lots of time working to improve the MBT experience and make it more informative, more amusing and more thought provoking than ever before. As always, if you have something to tell us, don't hesitate to let us know. If you have a contribution, send it over to us. If you have a complaint or a gripe, by all means, voice your opinion. We work for you, the reader, and from all of us at MBT, I'd like to thank you for making us the publication we are today.
